Re: [games suggestions] any suggestion for a story based audio game?

HI,@defenderah, yes, i forgot those indeed, thanks for remembering To add on top of these defender mentioned, there is the vortex for alexa, i haven't tried this one yet, but i watched liam playing it a bit, and it did sound interesting.I played the first three parts of the inquisitor on windows/mac, but my problems with at least two of these parts, was that at a certain part i got blocked by a bug But the story is awsome. When you want to give the inquisitor parts a try, i recommend you trying the iphone varients, cause with one of the two buggy parts i had on windows/mac wasn't that buggy on ios. I thought that was the first part. There also is she noire from tycon blue, i completed this one on mac two or three times, however there aren't very much paths to take, to differenciate your gameplay, it was none the less an interesting storyline.hthGreetz mike

You guys are giving allot of text based answers, but what about all those interactive audio drama type games for IOS, like frequency missing, Codename Cygnus, earplay, mindsight, the inquisitor ETC? I haven't played many my self.Papa Sangre II especially, though action heavy, was also quite story heavy too, and people have managed to get it running again.Or even just Code 7 or Legacy or descent into madness, Grail to the Thief ETC for Windows.I think you can even find some on the Amazon Echo and Google Home.Allot of them tend to end on cliffhangers though sadly.

Yeah, choice of games would be really good to check out, another good one is Timecrest, again if you have an iPhone. You make pretty much every decision in that game, it's text-based and has a sort of fantasy plot, it's a little hard to aptly explain the summary but you can play it multiple times and go down different paths.

Re: [games suggestions] any suggestion for a story based audio game?

Hi@darkyou toke the words right of my mouth, at least, half of them actually, meh.I agree, the choice of game series and others really have interesting stories to read and play. To add on top of them, are audiogames and browser games, which are primary story based with rpg elements.1. A hero's call from out of sight games.http://www.outofsightgames.comThis is an audio rpg with an interesting story, nicely build area's, beautiful sound design and immersive music.2. manamonhttp://www.vgstorm.comAs mahdi-abedi and dark said, this is an interesting rpg pokemon like game. Probably not as immersive as a hero's call's story line, it is still an interesting story line in my oppinion, cause this launches the familiar pokemon story in a somewhat darker theme. Very well done in my oppinion.3. sryth,http://www.sryth.comA online single player browser rpg. In which you fight back the darkness that slowly spreads over the land tisa. Herein you play a lot of gamebook like adventures. As a free member you'll have access to 2000 pages of ingame content, when you upgrade to adventurer guild status, you will get around 35000 extra pages. This can be done for 5 dollar i thought? As far as i was able to gather via the wiki.4. Kingdom of loathing.Http://www.kingdomofloathing.comAnother interesting browser rpg. Herein you make a selection between six rather unique classes, which aren't anything more then just funny versions of the warrior, mage and thief classes. You play through several quests in the main line, save the king, beat the naughty sauceress, no, that isn't a typo and reroll, build your character and start over And, if peeps allow me to promote my own project a little: Your_adventurehttp://www.nonvisiongames.comIn here you step into the shoes on an unknown adventurer with near no knowledge of various skills. You perform activities to improve them. There are several quests available in the game, nasty creatres to vanquish, and a rather large world to explore. The free game has 10 qiests, but our first add-on, castlevania, adds 9 extra and a rather large area to explore. We are currently working on update 3.1 which adds a few extra functionality to the game, like brief mode and background mode, more on that when it gets published. Then the dutch translation is in the planning after which we will work on the free world again, and probably on our second add-on, not sure yet.Our first prio is the free world in beta 4.I hope this helps Greetz Mike

Re: [games suggestions] any suggestion for a story based audio game?

Hi and welcome to the forum. Manamon does have story, but its more like an rpg where you go through each and every map successively engaging in battles. If you go over to the front page, you can use the "games" link to list games in the database in a particular genre. "audio adventure" refers to interactive stories in audio, whilst "gamebooks" refers to choice based stories primarily in text. Myself, most of the favourites I've played in this genre have been text based and include the fighting fantasy project, choiceofgames and hosted games titles, Delight games are also worth a look if you have an android or Ios device. if you want to get into something a bit more complex (and if you have an Iphone), I'd strongly recommend King of dragon pass and its sequel, six ages, which are a mix of gamebook style choices, rpg mechanics and management, and A dark room and the ensign, which are easy to play rpgs with a dark story. Nanno empire is good too. Hth. This is just scratching the surface, there is a lot of stuff out there, especially when you count rpgs, action games, browser rpgs and mud games too, and if you like exploring stories you'll definitely find some good things.

[games suggestions] any suggestion for a story based audio game?

hi guys, I am new to this forum. I hope I don't break any rules. So I am looking for a story audio game suggestion. Like those story games where the player chooses and the progresses based on the player's decision. I appreciate any suggestions.
