Public groups are not something we have looked into, as that requires manual signing and none of us have looked into the command line. When it has been done successfully, the app should behave like any other web page. If none of this works, try clicking on random parts of the interface, then pressing space. If there are any edit boxes near by, clicking on one will instantly make the app accessible again. I hope this helps, although it is a bit annoying I do agree. In fact, it's even worse on Mac because if you try to stop interacting, once! You get nothing but the close, minimise, and full screen buttons. Now that is annoying! You can't ever interact with the app now, at all, until you force quit and restart it. And whatever you do, do not! Put it in full screen! I did, and the window just hides itself, never to be seen again, and worst of all, it saves! So that means you'r client is busted until you uninstall and reinstall it again. So please don't do what I did. They did mention being able to choose when history items in the quota clear out in the future, but that hasn't come yet. I have reada lot of the docs on this program, and I'm impressed, and I do think they will keep their promise for the most part. Even 100 gb is fine really, I'm just glad it is on a network drive and not local storage. I should really learn how to use commandline commands for this program, but I know they are working on adding more to the app, so I can wait. It's something like a cent per gigabyte, possibly more depending, which is fine enough until people start passing links to hd video out to Twitter or whatever. There's a lot to Keybase that isn't file sharing, though from a consumer standpoint the prospect of 250GB is probably what makes most hop on the bandwagon.The CLI certainly makes up for where the UI falls short, and then a bunch. If you don't feel comfortable using it though, just play around for a while. Buttons are unlabeled, but you'll eventually memorize where things are optionally with the help of OCR, or such I did six months ago. Don't limit yourself to apps with far from stellar accessibility practices. I'll give these guys a pass because the app is usable, and feature packed to say the least.The Keybase FileSystem (KBFS) is also pretty impressive, and combined with keybase.pub can even suffice for a simple file sharing website when you add custom HTML.I've shown interest in this lately, which has spawned a few side projects. The most notable is an app that sits in the background, monitoring/speaking/playing sounds for changes in your Keybase mount, think Speak Dropbox but not. I wouldn't mind maybe polishing this up tomorrow if others would find it useful.I have since entirely uninstalled/cancelled my Dropbox and OneDrive subscriptions in favor of this on top of B2 for backups, and have been living happily and a couple dollars richer ever since. Hi all, So Me and Zarvox(Daniel Ingraham) have wanted to move away from BT sync and Resilio for a really long time due to it's constant conflicts and just... Not working properly. Daniel found this thing that... To be quite honest, I'm surprised this even exists. It's called Keybase, an alternative to Dropbox, BT Sync and other file sharing services. You can learn more about it at https://keybase.io/The way it works is you make a user account, and you get assigned a free network drive on any device, Mac, Windows, Linux, IOS, Android, whatever, that is 250 GB! In size. This can be split into three categories. Public (where your public user files go )private ( that only you can see, along with all your signed in devices) and team( where you and other members can collaborate on projects). I have already set up my public folder with some recordings and files in it, along with the Public Electronic Game library.
