@9:That is if not completely then partly wrong.Android TV OS is a operating system designed to run on TV hardware. The smart TVs from many manufacturers such as TCL, Soni, LG etc come with this operating system built in to the TV itself

To be clear, android TV is a streaming device you plug into a TV such as Samsung, LG or Sony, so we are having two separate discussions here. Android TV is more similar to Fire TV, Apple TV or even Roku. It's not an actual television.
