One game I ran into whilst mucking about on the mud connector, was Cyndome, main website here I don't know if this is quite what your looking for, since the focus is definitely cyberpunk. However, the seemed to be almost a hybrid of the diskworld style skill based training system, and a heavily rp orientated mud. It could actually be something like a scifi version of Avalon, with a lot of dynamic game content but who's main focus is player driven interaction and rp. I don't know exactly since mainline rp isn't as much my thing, but maybe it'll suit you. Hth. Re: Any scifi-muds out there? I've actually been looking for some good science fiction for quite a while, but not so much Shadowrun (cyberpunk) and more Stars Without Number (space travel). I'd rather the game environment reflect that heavy rp focus, so maybe not a mud in the traditional sense (circle/rot/whatever) or moo; probably what I'm looking for is a mush or whatever the other one is, which are both built around roleplay. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. I'll also add that 4dimensions has very hacknslash mechanics, with some fantasy, some wild west, and some scifi ideas, so you can have everything from six shooters to laser pistols, and similarly zones in the go from futuristic with spaceships to medieval and stone age. there is probably more out there too, though I suspect just as with the fantasy games, finding what is good is the key. Cryosphere is completely sci-fi based, though isn't really hack and slash and has more of a focus on doing missions to advance levels.There are any number of star wars muds that are hack and slash. SWMud, anything of the SW codebase on mudconnector, etc.There are also muds using the awakened worlds codebase that are very sci-fi as well as hack and slash.3Kingdoms/3Scapes has an entire science zone dedicated to sci-fi of various types from post-apocalyptic wastelands to star wars and trek to more original concepts like Aegis Global. Any scifi-muds out there? Hey to all!So, there are a lot of Fantasy-hack wich are realy realy nice. But i wonder if there are also some hack in a scifi-setting with Lasterpistols and plasmaguns.Yeah, we have Cyber assault. But is this the only one of this category?And yes yes, i know there is Miriani, prometheus, starconquest and so on. But these are more somethign i would call space muds with ship to ship combat.Any ideas?Best wishes!
