Asciigames

Hey to all! Some of us were playing this TheWastes over the last days. And now i am very curious if there are some other more accessible asciigames.I also tryed that WarSim of the same developer. But i am not sure if the game is full of bugs or if i am to stupid to check the controls and rules. So, is there any other stuff i should try?

Re: Asciigames

I havent played many ASCII text games recently, but back in the DOS days before Windows took off, I played a lot of them.First Id check the games database here on audiogames.net, I believe it has a bunch of ASCII text games listed in it.Another place to check is Jim Kitchens web site at http://www.kitchensinc.net, he has a list of speech friendly dos games.Back in the 80s, when I had an Apple 2, I played most of the Infocom interactive fiction text adventures, if you think you might like that sort of thing, you can play them online here: http://pot.home.xs4all.nl/infocom/And then theres Forum Wars, a text based RPG you play in your browser about being a forum troll, theres a topic about it in these forums that also has a link to the games.Im sure others will chime in with their favorites, but I hope this will at least give
you some places that has what youre looking for.
