Re: BG Twenty20 Cricket Maybe the way the computer bats can be changed a bit, they are just slogging and don't really try and build their innings. I had Australia on 88/8 after 8 overs, the computer is trying to score too fast and then losing wickets very easily.Shot selection and delivery selection would be great.Looking forward to any updates, I've managed to beat all the teams, wasn't too difficult. Re: BG Twenty20 Cricket Really like the game but few suggestions.- Would be nice to select what kind of ball you want to bowl, as well as line and length, rather than just having it random- Would be great to have more control over shot selection, as well as knowing where the field is set so you can hit accordingly. Furthermore, it would be good if the bowling descriptions were more refined, for example, "just outside off stump, full." The option to leave a ball would also be cool, though almost pointless in T20 cricket.- The option of only 5 bowlers is a bit odd, especially in T20 cricket you often have a fair few part-timers on.If I think of a few more I will post, great job though! Re: BG Twenty20 Cricket Well.Sonnar interactive is making a cricket game which has coreamode as well as a 1 on 1 vs mode and a couple other modes.The teams can be up to 11 players and you can do that.I think its out on android allready I think its been released, just look and see if it is but don't quote me on that.We have had major rejections from apple so it aint up there yet.The pc version while really close is still not in the public just yet.For the user with dropbox.Yeah dropbox interface has got a bit mangled.If you change the 0 at the end of the dl= line to 1 then it will download.Its worth noting that if you do that to a dropbox folder dropbox will zip it and download it for you to.The cricket voices are mostly uk based though, it was created for the newzealand blind cricket team for its tourniment in india as of last week.Its not the best it could be but its quite close. Re: BG Twenty20 Cricket I agree that this game can become something very nice and a season or tournament type of structure would also be nice.I do however feel that you need to have greater control over shot selection, not just hitting A or C. Your numpad 1-9 can provide you with some different shots. Also bowling is not really fun, again if you could choose your type of delivery and maybe the length whether it be short, full, just short of a length etc would be nice.Later on as the game grows it might be worth it to look into setting your own field.Waited ages for a cricket game to come out and now I am glad to see that is a lot of things that can be implimented to make this an absolutely brilliant game.Oh and online multiplayer option will be out of this world. The trouble with single match play with no goals or achievements is they get old fast which is a shame because sports sims need goals and achievements for longevity. Hopefully the developer of the game has more plans for 20 20 cricket because it has the makings of something special. Re: BG Twenty20 Cricket this is the sort of game we were all crying out for for eternity, or i was at least! as an avid cricket fanatic, this is awesome. i assume there will be more enhanced versions if this is entitled 1.0. played quite a few games with few heart-in-mouth results i must admit. having all teams to strong batting does provide quite a competitive element, although the scoring rate is a lot more quicker. haven't really found considerable difference between weak or strong bowling. maybe sri lanka should be in there by default, more than a decent side in this format. More detail on the bowling delivery, was it a high bounce, was it a tough bounce, was it a hard delivery, was it a deliberate short run up or a slow jog, or and so forth. I got a trio of sixes off of a pace bowler but then clean bowled by a Yorker delivery after hitting all three sixes off of the last three Yrker deliveries. I was left wondering what was different about the fourth one.4. T20 with no English counties? I was hoping there'd be counties but I guess I can make those with the team maker right?5. At least for me Windows kept blocking the file as a virus once it was downloaded even though I knew it was cl ean, and saying Dropbox wasn't a trusted site. However, I managed to win my first game with my last two men, England V Australia, with England chasing. Ended up figuring a strategy for hitting/blocking various types of shot and then realised I had a few appeals to work with, so used those and fortunately the umpires backed me up all the way through.The only other pieces of feedback that might be useful to hand over to Ian are the following:1. Have the fielders appeal when LBW is called, partly as it's not always a straight decision.2. Allow, when batting, for a player to elect to leave a ball. Sometimes you don't want to risk blocking a ball and have it caught just because you put an edge on it or connecte d with the bat in any way.3. Allow the verbose option, when turned off, to remove the batting prompt to "play a stroke". If you've played the game for long enough, you'll know how that works if you've turned the option off and the repetition of such pieces of informational text only serves to slow down the game.4. Have the ability, if the player wishes, to save a log of the resulting game. I would've possibly liked to share the outcome of my first game to show how relatively down to the wire it was.All in all though, a very confident start and hopefully the game could be expanded in future to improve its performance etc and maybe to add some more sounds as well.
