Also be aware that when copying your entire AppData folder, you may get warnings about paths being too long. I did when doing this, so only copy over the program folders you want to save settings for rather than copying the entire thing would be my

Make sure you're selective when copying appdata. At minimum, exclude cache, microsoft, Microsoft_Corporation, temp and whatever else exists and looks to be unnecessary from Local and Roaming. The bulk of LocalLow can also probably go.Desktop, Favorites

Backblaze and Crashplan are long term backup solutions. Every content creator should have one in case shit hits the fan.Seems like you want something short term though. Since refreshing will get rid of your apps, best to copy appdata, documents, downloads

I'm not 100% confident of the refresh and reset this PC features. From what I can gather, they use existing files on your system to do the reset, which may not always work well, especially if something is messed up already. Windows 10 2004 includes a cloud

I would reinstall windows fresh as I and a friend of mine have lots of issues with refreshing windows. My friend have Wi-Fi not work after refresh.

Backup Utilities for Windows?
Wanting to engage in my usual spring cleaning of a pc reset to clean off any crap that I can't reach with a typical app like ccleaner. What do people recommend for creating a backup of everything so I can delete settings and all the system junk I don't know
