You will need to know the command-line and need node.js installed on your system. usualy node.js also gives you NPM what you also need to run the game. it looks like a package manager to me, like pip in python.any ways then you also need git installed on your system, and clone the project to your system from oriol's github. system.Then run npm installrun npm run buildrun npm run start and the project should load fine, if your system does not fuck you around like mine did with electron... Hi!Sooo, after noticing people playing beatstar updates with a ton of bugs, I thought I'd start a beta team for oriolgomez.com gamesThe games are open source so basically anyone can get the game at any point, however, I'd like to have a small team of testers who would be willing to the following:1. Run the game from source and play (I can put up a guide on how to run these games from source).2. Test the game. This includes starting with a new save file and playing the minigames, etc to make sure there are no bugs.3. Use the devtools console (control shift i on windows and command option i on mac, switch to console tab and report errors to me via the beta group which I will create).4. Whether you use mac or windows does not matter, the codebase is the same.If you feel you can do all of these things (nbote that running beatstar from source requires you to install npm and node, but it is pretty straightforward), contact me off list at ogomez.s92(at)gmail.com, replacing (at) with an @ sign.As a stester, you can of course have a save file for testing and another for playing normally, by backing up your save.beatstar file in your beatpacks folder and replacing it with the beta save whenever.Thanks so much guys.
