Nidza: I don't know, but if it's so public as it's his excuse, I'm pretty sure everyone knows about it, I mean, at least the ones who played his games. I don't care about his personal life, it's not my business to treat people who I don't even know. It doesn't upset me at all, but as someone who has grieved at least twice in my life, I know it's not easy and you can't get through it by concentrating on something that you always get only critics about what you do. I'm sorry for his friend, but it doesn't work like this.Sovs. No, I'm actualy really emotional and empathic in real life, because I know those people have impact on me and in real, most people don't get away with excuses that I'm not sure about. I mean, I don't think Tunmi would lie, but on the internet anyone can say anything. Sadly if it comes to real life, I'm more emotional than I should be, and people try to control my feelings by wanting me to hide my feelings. I sometimes want to reach that online, because I don't need to talk nor give my voice, and if I write it's easier to hide how I'm feeling. That's mainly why I'm sometimes really harsh, and sometimes nice, although if we talked for example, knowing myself, I wouldn't be this kind of person because if I talk more to a person, more of my trust they earn.

I get over my grief by developing. But there are times at night where I will take a break to think about the moment I was hit with that bad news. I am not trying to make excuses about my grief being the reason I don't develop or any of that. I am just trying to make it clear that, I am grieving, but I don't have to show my grief to the world.

so, tumni stepped down as dev for bts, so now this game is going to shit. you cna use items while stunned, robots are fast as hell, they can't hit you but they have way too much health, move way too fast, and they are just  giant noise maker that you can barely ever hit because they just teleport to you if you get too far away, and you have to wait 5 minutes for them to die. Base health boosters are way too over priced, bases actually exist for some reason, etc.

@Deathstar: The way the system is designed is that the lower level you are, the higher level the opponent you fight, the more points and coins you are going to receive for defeating them. The people who are fighting themselves are really not getting much, compared to what the newbies get when they defeat them.

In such a small community all voices are loud. You cannot please everyone. Even mainstream games cannot but due to a very large community you won't notice that sometimes.  in such a small community and in every online game someone must be the leader of the whole game because they collected a whole lot of items or whatever. That also happens in mainstream games but due to the large world and  a large amount of players it's not noticeable. But in here every small thing is noticeable and loud. Balancing is not the main issue of audio games. The only thing is our community is so small that the largest online player base is like 112 players or so. No @Meatbag I think she was refurring to me. Earlier I did give a reason. i sighted due to the current mechanic it can't work, since there's not a level system. I said that t won't work because  expected them to had played the game. and even if slightly they'd get a grasp as to how exactly the game work. You know, it might be too complicated or too much efort or what have you to create a full newbie system, but you know what's probably much easier to do? Creating some maps with a max level, so only those with a certain level or below can enter. So you could make a training map that is only available for levels 1-10 or so, and anyone above that level simply can't enter. The newbies can use the new map to get their first kills with people who are also new and learn the ropes, and the dinosaurs can go slug it out on the other maps.

Honestly I think a large reason of why the game is in its current state is because of players suggesting things that other players hate and those other players  suggesting things  that another portion hates. though a lot of times they consider constructive feedback as drama or destructive feedback. They worked towards the goal.I would also like to mention that the starter pack gives you 3 packs of ammo from each weapon, as well as 10 shields, 50 timebombs, 50 mines, and 1000 coins. If you don't have enoughc oins, you can sell at least 25 percent of some of those items and get at least a thousand or more coins to get better items.

so deathstar your asking for protection for the first 3 or so levels.  Now how is that fair?  You want people to let them kill you to aquire said levels?  The only way to get a new level or rank is to kill and get the points to get to said levels.  Free kills sound nice but not possible. Thier are many maps to explore and get used to the game before you go and start kicking ass.

After they practised enough and they got to something like level 3 or 5 or whatever, they could enter anywhere.

You misunderstood me. Of course I like this kind of games, otherwise I wouldn't try this either. I know the main goal of it is to kill and to be killed, but not at level 1 when you know literaly nothing about the game or the maps and high level players take advantage of it. It's totally different regarding games that are made for sighted users because they quickly look at the map and they know where to run if needed, but huge 2d maps like these are not meant for quick overviewing, sadly. I'm not saying that we should be overprotected and stuff, but let us explore at low levels, let us practise for example for 3 levels and then let's go, yeah. But I'm pretty sure I'm not the only one who's ignored at that point. Anyway I logged in today as well and I'm not sure if it's normal to get stuck somewhere in the air in the safe zone, and every time I commit suicide, being in high hopes that I'll ever fall down to the floor, I get higher and higher LOL

A newbie can't even explore because they'll be hunted down at the first minute of the game. Wouldn't it be more fair if they added something like a protection system that would protect you for your first, let's say, 3 or 4 levels? I'm familiar with the mechanics of the game, I mean, I played this kind of games for quite a log time so I know how to kill and ETC ETC, but it's unfair if a player with 10 ammo and 3 levels come and hunt you down at the first moment of your gameplay.

I don't see why that's an issue. There used to be names of random people who worked on various aspects of the game, but they included Nocturnus. To my knowledge, he hadn't worked on the game in any manner. The thing about devs and admins show up is just to let you know that if something's going on, here's someone who will be able to address it. The message doesn't say: Tunmi comes online. Tunmi is the one true developer, and demands you lick his boots or be sent to the abyss.In short, I find these pretty poor reasons not to like a game, especially when there doesn't seem to be any implied condescension in there. I took far more of an issue with Cosmic Rage's supreme this and that all over the place back in the day.
