Yeah Anker does like everything now, and they're not half bad either!

Re: Can anybody recommend a speaker?

Huh. Anybody have anything to say about this one, good bad or indifferent?https://www.dev20.atguys.com/index.php? … cts_id=306It definitely sounds better than the Stream's internal speaker, not at all difficult really. It's slightly cheaper than the Anker, which is what I was considering, though Anker also has a cheaper speaker that's probably the same sort of idea. I know Anker's supposed to be really good electronics, assuming they're the same people who do the power adapters and stuff. The 360 degree sound is interesting, assuming it actually works, then you don't have to worry about orientation. But really I could see either of the Anker speakers working too.

Re: Can anybody recommend a speaker?

Thanks, I'll check those out. A hundred is a bit more than I was planning on paying, but if it's a really decent speaker it would work. I'll have to get my wife to check dimensions and such.

Re: Can anybody recommend a speaker?

Minirigs They honestly kick the ass of speakers double to three times their price, plus the entire system is modular. Want to build a 2.4 system? go nuts.Another seemingly tiny thing that elevates them above other speakers is that by using their app that lets you adjust settings, you can set the speakers amps to never shut off when you have them connected to wired sources so they become perfect for carting around in a backpack to beef up the audio from a variety of things without having to deal with that annoying thing where they're always shutting down to conserve power cutting off speech in the process. There is also the  Anker SoundCore Motion+ You really can't go wrong with either of these.

Can anybody recommend a speaker?

Yo peeps, happy 2021 and all.I was thinking of getting a speaker, specifically one of those Creative sound bars. But one of the things I want to do with it is plug into the Victor Stream, because it's internal speaker kind of sucks and I also think it uses up more battery than just having something plugged into the headphone jack. So I'm wondering if the Creative would be a little big.Anybody got any decent speaker recommendations for something like that? It would have to be able to connect via cable, obviously, since the Stream doesn't have bluetooth. But other than that, well, I was wondering if there might be something about the size of the Stream that would put out some decent sound with a bit of bass. It would have to have some decent volume too since part of the reason I want to do this is so I can hear the stream in noisier environments where I can't use headphones. For example, some books and radio stations are quiet enough, even with the internal speaker all the way up, that I can't hear them over shaving with an electric razor. Well I can hear them, just not particularly clearly.
