Re: Could use some help writing a paper for University Firstly, if Nvda is set to announce page numbers in the dialogue you mention, it should announce whilst typing or editing, and certainly whilst reading. Secondly, if you use the NvdA command nvdA end to read the status bar you can get all sorts of handy information in word, including what page your on and what the word count is. Lastly, I always found it more accurate myself to go by word count for length, rather than line or page count, not the least because either of those things will depend upon the font setting anyway. One page usually corresponds to 400 words, so when writing essays at university we'd usually be instructed to write either 1500 words, or not quite four pages.You can check this yourself in word with NVdA announcing next page. In other words when I type normally I can not tell when I am at the half way mark of a page or where I am. I wish there was an NVDA addon which played tones that told you your progress in the page. Like every time you went down a line it would get higher. Wish I knew enough programming to write it myself. Re: Could use some help writing a paper for University Hi,For sections, you could create headings, but before you do that, you might want to check with your style guide to see what is the proper font size and color for your headings. Then, you can use the style bar in Microsoft Word to create headings. I don't know the exact steps to do this because I haven't used Word since 2011. I do all of my writing in Markdown these days.Best of luck. Could use some help writing a paper for University There is probably an easy way to do this. I basically want to know when I have gone halfway done with a page. When I have finished the entire page. Also I am required to create sections and subsections. Any help would be greatly appreciated. It is for my political science class. I got one more year left and I finish! So close.
