Good morning, for those who had the error when running the game, maybe this is the solution:If you have a 32-bit system you will have to have an active Internet connection when you start the game, it does not matter if you disconnect during the main menu or while playing but if you exit and want to re-enter, you must have an active connection.Honestly, I don't know why 32-bit development stopped on Windows, but hey, programming options.And this will be a problem if for some reason the page or the server closes and you have not yet managed to switch to 64 bits because it does run normally on these machines. What DLLs does the game need? Are they installed with the game? I think not. I recently did a clean install on the GPD Win.Strangely, this game runs fine on my Bootcamped MacBook Air, so I assume something else I installed has the necessary components to allow the program to run. I got to (I think?) level 6, the one where you're asked to jump a bunch of pits, and if you fall, you get electrocuted. Only I think in that version you had to make a series of running jumps because you couldn't jump accurately while standing still or the gaps were too big. So I was repeatedly dying over and over again, to the extent that I just destroyed the game and didn't look back.Is this still an issue, or is the game more accurate now, or was I missing something hella obvious? If it's more navigable/I was missing something obvious, maybe I'll give this a try. Vanishing Platforms and Maglevs.You could ride on a Maglev, but enemies could also ride with you and you'd have to use that instead of needing to jump of a pit. In short, a maglev would sometimes replace a pit. Same goes for a vanishing platform. Same with water pits as mentioned earlier. Hi,The spacing between pits already does shrink as the levels increase, and if you put absolutely no points in spacing, by level 60 or so you'd notice.For the next version I've scaled the damages for the rest of the stuff that spawns on the board, so have fun with that when it's released.I personally haven't had issues with things not spawning and blank patches. Maybe it happens on really, really large boards for some reason. I can look into spawning more hazards/traps and such. Staircases was something I actually did want to do, I think that'd be fun. Scaling seems okay, though there is a problem with my range reaching a point where things just died without being able to attack me. Have you considered scaling enemy health?I think you reduced the chance of item drops? That, or you made potions less common. I quit at level 44 or so with only 15 potions. It's almost half of 102, so odds are if I did make it that far I'd have around 30 or so. If you didn't touch items, I'm fooled.What is the point of obstacle spacing? I increased the skill a multitude of times and could not see the difference with 8 or so points in it Vs. 0. I kept it at 0 for this run and honestly can't say I noticed the missing benefits.One of my biggest issues right now is the fact that more often than not, you are forced to move through a lot of blank patches in the level. Have you considered filling up the board at a more uniform rate?Choppers are extremely rare, so much so that throughout me playing the game, about 5 or so times, I have only seen one. Have you considered increasing their frequency?Bombs and cars don't appear to scale their damage, becoming more of an annoyance than anything. Perhaps make them scale like the enemies do?So, my suggestions:Scale enemy health to encourage investment in the damage skill.A more equal distribution of obstacles on the board.Somehow encourage investment into obstacle spacing, perhaps by slowly shrinking the space between pits/spikes/forcefields? The player would have to combat this by investing points into obstacle spacing, facing the consequences of requiring a greater amount of preciseness should they choose to ignore the skill.Scale the damage of bombs and cars.Consider looking up simple procedural generation. It's tiring to jump through the same old board, perhaps you could make platforms that the player could jump on? Staircases to be climbed? Something to spice up the gameplay.Overall, a nice improvement. Like I said, this did force me to be more attentive in regards to enemy positioning.
