This thing's awesome, and also creepy as fuck lol. I was stupid enough to accidentally spent my match when there was no ghost because I kept pressing the wrong key. How do you know there are ghosts though? There's no indication what so ever. They just pop outa nowhere and boom! die. Also, that daughter's bedroom with something knocking on the door outside is super creepy. I can't find the explanation as to why after I leave it going for a while, the music box and everything crashes and the room goes silent.Also, @brian.kurosawa, if you'd like someone to help you with story and such for your future releases, I may be able to give a hand. English may not be my first language and I myself can't really say I'm good. But I've been writing and am pretty fond of stories, +horror is one of my favorite genres. I'm also a fan of horror adventure/survival stuff like silent hill and resident evil, which may be the kind you're looking for. I don't know how to code at all. Indid I got stuck with Darkened's development. Does have accessible apps for all major OS's though. Okay so I looked at the walkthrough that was posted here.Seems ike a promising enough game, but ti really needs polishing, as far as translations, and the text in general goes.I mean even in screen readers, I heard a typo. I know, a single typo isn't bad, given all the text I'm sure that's in there.Even still, it really needs lots of polishing in the translation department.It isn't bad as like shadow line, or bk3, before it got translated, but it could definitely use some work. I finally managed to get the code to the safe from that. still doesn't make sence though. spoilers!if it's to do with the notation I assume it's a c major cord? but it's tenuous to say the least.also found a bunch of bugs. for example if you save and the notes vanish on you parts don't seem to play through and you have to start again. plus if you do the keys in the wrong order which you can it seems to get a bit anci as well and won't carry on. i had a key left at the end of chapter one but it wouldn't let me use it on the east door. i had to do it over again.anyway though great game, just wish it was a lot longer but you guys are on to something really cool here. keep at it and you could make an epic game. i love it. But if you want to translate it to your own language, just tell me. Firstly you will need to translate from Portuguese to English, but of cource i can provide the original sentences for you as well. I've choose to keep it encrypted on the final versions to avoid people spoiling their own game.I updated the language file fixing some translation problems, thanks to Darth Scorp. Re: Darkened chain, a new horror game for the blind! spoiler!make sure you run , you could hit tab to make your char automaticly running if you press w,a,s,d.run strate north, and east to the kitchen, east to the dining room, and east again to the living room, and the ghost will stop chaseing you use the match if the ghost get near you.to make thing easyer, before you enter the girl's room, make sure the doors to the kitchen, dining room, and living room are open.and close that door to the room with diary so you not to overshot and pass the kitchen to the east when the ghost chaseing you. (yeah, I did that and I just like, wowoow omg omg )spoiler end. I don’t understand how I should get rid of the ghost before the music box stops and that really scary noise happens. Otherwise, when I leave the room across from the little girls room, the ghost is always after me and gets me every time. I don’t know how to get rid of it.
