As far as I know the airoplane mode is only on Ios not windows, however if you disable the wireless modem you should be fine. On the Toshiba laptops I used there is a switch at the front for the wireless modem, and this is what I used when I went to Egypt.URL

Hi.I think Windows 8 is the only Windows operating system that has a toggle for airplane mode because it is the first operating system where Microsoft decided it was best that everyone get a tablet operating system on a desktop or laptop computer.I still think

When I flew to Egypt in 2010, the general rule was I could use my laptop to listen to books and music and play games (this was before I had my Iphone), provided I physically turned off the wireless modem. Its the wifi bit that interferes with planes, this is why
