Maybe I'm misunderstanding something about the guide, then.Is the only way to get any info out of the Steam client to repeatedly use the OCR feature, even with this command line switch turned on? I'm using Jaws 17 on Windows 10, and the OCR is only partially helpful.I'm able to log in without problems, but the Steam window itself seems to be almost totally unusable. The farthest I managed to get was an "Installing Final Fantasy XIII," screen, which had some sort of license agreement. But I couldn't actually agree to it with OCR.Any advice would be appreciated. console to steam release: final fantasy xiii! Hi all,I know this might get some newcomers thinking what are you doing? Why are you talking about this? Its a final fantasy rpg game, something I dont know if I can play! Before I explain some things to consider, like playability and such, Ill first give you some background.So the other day a friend and me were browsing steam trailers. I heard a familiar note, asking what was that? The person responded final fantasy xiii. Well, I went nuts. Im not kidding I got so excited because I thought itd never happen. I asked when was it released? and it was on that very day.I have not purchased the PC version yet, but allow me to explain what I know about this game from the console version, along with something to consider for the Steam release. Ill just say though, I like this game a lot and I hope the steam version is as good.The game is quite linear in nature. There are some areas that are a bit trickier to navigate, but there are also quite a lot of sounds, such as chests and savepoints, all in stereo as you move.The batle system is menu based, but its also impressive because characters sort of move round the screen and fight in stereo, in sort of realtime.There is an option that equips the best equipment you are holding automatically.If you hit a wall the character slows down.Thats all I really know, as even in the console version I kept putting it down and coming back, as its quite a long game and I kept forgetting what had happened previously.The one thing I do know about the pc version though, is its size. This may bring some folks down, because the game is... wait for it... 60 gb.Also, the price is relatively cheap. In the UK, its around £11, I dont know how much the US are charging for it though.I dont know if the pc release comes with anything else. Itd be cool if you get a soundtrack, but I dont think you do. I say mostly because, at times, when someone walked in the room and I needed help, I asked for it. All other times I was solo. Which was pretty much the whole time. After CH12, it becomes unplayable for the next two chapters--the game ends at chapter 14, if you dont do editional side content.
