Re: Getting a ps5, and very confused so, a capture card requires a HDMI cable to connect to your playstation, if you want to be in a different room then your playstation you would ether want a very long usb cable for connecting the card to your computer, or a very long HDMI cable, if your using a monitor for your computer you don't really need a second one, the playstation will show up on your PC monitor anyways, you don't really need a monitor, sound is also coming through.Hope that answerd your question.
