I could list several subjective reasons as to why I believe the Xbox One to be superior in terms of accessibility, ease-of-purchase in terms of digital products, the advantages of dual system controler compatibility with PC etc.The thing that made me change my mind was the Kinect vs the PS4 camera really for one - the ps4s voice commands, whilst being updated, are not as responsive or as fleshed out as the Ones, which comes from the latter system being built with the Kinect as a key component from day 1.Additionally, the PS4 camera is a separate purchase at souble the price of the kinect, or it was last time I checked.Whilst there are games that Id consider to be ok for the PS4, the Xbox One has Killer Instinct which was a clincher for me. The only game that the ps4 had over it at the time I bought mine was really GG X RD, which after looking at gameplay didnt interest me that much.Also, you can seemingly get deals that give you better value for money with the Xbox One in terms of console+accessories. Heck, I got 2 wireless controllers, the kinect, 12 months of live and a code for Dance Central Spotlight (probably along with other things that escape me at the moment) for slightly over the price of a PS4.I am not saying the PS4 is a bad console, just that it is less appealing to me personally. My opinions are just that: opinions - you dont have to agree with them but they are here mostly for the sake of helping with the decision. Re: I'm saving up to buy a PS4, do you guys think this is a positive inves yeah, you should get one, anyway they have awesome specs and they have better specs over xbox 1, im too lazy to link them but you can find them yourself if youre interested. I dont know about this ball, Ive played racing games and never felt anything inside the controller, if you shake the controller you dont feel any ball inside of it moving around. It does have the 6 axis stuff that the PS3 controller had. Its a nice feeling controller, and the touchpad is cool, and some devs make good and creative use of it. The speaker in the controller s kinda cool but not all games use it, also there is a lightbar on the back of the controller kind of towards the top, like kind of pointing up, its normally green and games can take control of it and change its color and make it pulsate and stuff, it also turns red or blinks or something when the battery gets low, I forget what though. Not to put you off or anything, but PS4s break, and there really isnt much new regarding the PS4, other than PS3 backward compatibility. Get either a PS2, or buy a Game Cube off of E bay. You will really like it. If you do get a game cube, it shouldnt cost you very much money. Other than improved voice support of its own, the ps4 also has a cloud system, streaming games, improved home service, etc. All consoles break... none of my friends have problems with their ps4s yet. And ps4 also does not have backwards compatibility, at least not at the moment. so yes, a ps4 is very much worth buying... as is an xbox1. So do computers, chairs, TVs, fridges, washing machines... Just dont get anything. Mkay? Really though, your ps4 when you do get it isnt probably going to spontaneously catch fire or anything. Even if it did you would get a replacement no problem. Sony isnt going to want to handle hardware failure like microsoft handled the red ring of death. And the ps3, for the glitches it had, stood up to a lot of rigorous testing... so Sony has a track record of solid hardware and durability where Im concerned. Re: I'm saving up to buy a PS4, do you guys think this is a positive inves as said before, I for one will be holding off on upgrading, as I currently see no reason for it for my PS3 does everything I want it to still.I do consider it a good investment though if you really want one as consoles are now great home entertainment systems as well as gaming machines, so it depends on how much you think youll use the thing if you have an xbox already.Do you own or plan to own bluerays? if so, then the PS4 i think can do that. If not, Id either wait for there to be more out that is playable and for a cheaper price tag. Obviously it is completely up to you though.when I do upgrade, Im considering a xbone over the 4 at this point due to killer instinct continually being expanded. Though I dont have any plans to do so as MKX for one comes out on older systems, and Im not going to bother with WWE 15 this year and instead will wait for 16 to give 2k more time to improve their product. I spoke to someone last week who have had his ps4 for almost a year, and he says its really cool. He mentioned the controller which sounds really amazing! It have a build in speaker, so games are made so when people are talking to you, they are talking through the speaker in the controller. He also mentioned a feature in the controller, which I have no idea about whats called in english. There is a ball inside the controller which roles when needed, so the controller feels heavier either in the left or right side of the controller. He gave one example where this feature is used. In racing games. If the car gets damaged, the controller kind of tilte to either the left or right side by this rolling ball, so you also get a tactile feedback on whats happening.Maybe those tw o features can make more games playable at any point? I dont know, but it sounds really amazing!
