It is either displayed where supported or not. All I get is a document position thing, which is a percentage slider and not very helpful. I know some books and papers have the page number in them when a new page is starting, but some don't. For pdf files I use edge's pdf reader. it is perfectly accessible and the page number is announced at the start of each page. Acrobat reader works too. Sadly for epub files I haven't discovered a good solution so I convert the files to pdf format and read them that way. Sadly it doesn't display pages on Word and epub and it has been so for years. Clicking it opens the navigation pain, which opens a dialogue where you can jump to searched keywords, other pages, and headings. Pressing Ctrl+f also invokes this dialogue. I need an ebook reader that displays what page I'm on I'm starting to get into things where I need to do stuff like cite sources correctly. To do that right, I have to state the exact page number I get my information from. Q-read doesn't display those. Anyone got any accessible alternatives? Free stuff is prefered, but not a requirement. What I don't want to do though is buying a completely new device. It should be something that works on a pc or apple device.
