Specifically which version is required depends on your mac, and you should have these files somewhere if you went through the bootcamp assistant and let it download them. Macbook pro and a problem. Hi.The problem is this; I have a macbook pro, but am unable to use the cd slot when using windows. I press the eject button, but nothing happens. Ive looked up this on the internet and found that its something to do with drivers? Can anyone help with this? Re: Macbook pro and a problem. Do you mean getting the CD out or putting it in? Because to put it in you just insert it into the slot and push slowly until it grabs it, at least on my 2012. Not sure if they switched to a retracting drive, but I doubt it.
