Re: Marvel vs capcom 2 The NVC 1 tracks were awesome remixes of the themes their respective characters came from... and thankfully, didn't go either the dramatic orchestration or techno route found in MVC 3. The jazz theme is probably classic to most people, just not my personal cup of tea. Maybe it's because I had much more time with the first game than the second. Capcom fighting game music in the 90s still remains some of my favourite video game tracks of all time. Re: Marvel vs capcom 2 Yeah a lot of people weren't feeling that jazzy flavor but I totally dig it and hearing mvc 2 music instantly takes me back to the hot summer of 02 when I'd spend hours upon hours in competitive play. I'll take those tracks over dramatic but forgetable orchestral arrangements and tired electronic remixes any day for this type of game. I just love those musical flourishes, and hearing people cover them all these years is just awesome! Re: Marvel vs capcom 2 They're both equally as chaotic. The only thing that makes 3 sound more chaotic is the design of the audio because there are more sounds and more detail. Speedwise they're very similar. As for music, I wasn't a big fan of MVC 2's soundtrack... my favourite will still be MVC 1, out of all the vs titles. No way to beat that one. Sadly MVC3 is more chaotic and not that amazing like the previous one. Probably this is why my love goes to SKULLGIRLS, as it's really inspired by MVC2 in terms of music and gameplay. Don't remember the character select screen beyond that. Does 3 announce names? Marvel vs capcom 2 Hi, so I've somehow never tried this game and to be fair, while it looks fun, I'm amazed at the lack of content there is in it to play through. Does anybody have any idea on the character select screen? the names aren't announced so I've no idea who I'm picking. If not, then I'll just go back to UMVC3 for a marvel fix. Thanks for any help.
