Re: Midi keyboard recommendation? I've had my Komplete Kontrol M32 a week or so and loving it. It feels like a toy in size, but it is built well. It's got a smattering of buttons and 8 knobs, as well as the D-pad controller which goes up, down, left and right, as well as turns and presses

Re: Midi keyboard recommendation? Akai Mini and Alisus both have options in the 50-100 USD range. I don't have either, but if you want a cheap option for under 100 dollars, try those brands. I believe M Audio, Korg, and Novation may have lower priced options too, but not sure. URL

Re: Midi keyboard recommendation? I have a mini keystation from M audioits great when traveling, because its pretty small, it has a decent range for most melodies and so on without needing to change octaves, and its fully programmable with basic things. Its a really nifty on the go
