Re: Questions regarding Talkback and Google dictation ok. So where gBoard is concerned, the voice input key is right near the letter P or the number 0, depending on how you set it up. I used Swift Key for like a day, and it's placement of the key is strange. Hold down the comma (,) key until you hear the friendly chime. I use gBoard, works like a charm, just one tap on that voice input key and you're good to go.Where TalkBack is concerned, I believe 6.0 was released for some newer devices, or devices running Android 8. Version 6.1 is in beta, and will roll out to all devices that can run 5.2.1. On Swiftkey the period key is at the same place, and the coma key is on the left. Though I wish I could easily backup the whole system before proceeding to sideloads, or even updating the OS.As for dictation, I remember searching in Swiftkey's settings and finding that the voice dictation button was set, but I will have to verify that again. That's why you cannot get talkback6.1though you can always find the latest version in APK mirroring websites.I haven't used neither of the keyboards that you mentioned, but as an Android user I can tell you that in most keyboards there is a button right next to the space bar that works as the voice input key.Note that you may need to configure the button to work as the voice input key manually. Questions regarding Talkback and Google dictation Hello everyone,As you may know, I decided to switch from my old IPhone 4S to a OnePlus 5T.However, I'm facing several problems, though for one I'm doubtful about it being an actual problem.First, I can't figure out how to use Google dictation when using any virtual keyboard. I tried both G-Board and Swiftkey, but in both cases I can't figure out where the dictation buton actually is. I read that in Swiftkey it was supposed to be near the space bar, like on an IPhone, but I can't find it anywhere. Is there a reason for it to not show up?My second question is about Talkback. It seems the latest release I can get from the Play Store is 5.2.1. As I read on Inclusive Android that 6.1 was in Beta, I wonder if that situation is normal. Unless there was no Talkback 6.0 or Talkback 6.x is only available on Android Oreo, I don't know why I would have to stick with 5.2.1.
