Re: Raspberry Pi Set-up

The Pi already has a card burned for it. I may only be able to connect via ssh. That is, if I can get it working. I've got tera-term, but I'm not sure what I should put for the TCP port. It starts as a default of 22.Other note: I've since been looking around for ttssh, but it appears that that has vanished from the face of the internet.

Re: Raspberry Pi Set-up

If you want to get speech out of the Pi, check out http://www.raspberryvi.org. You can find an image that has speech on startup. If you only need ssh access, I’d download a standard image and add a file to the root of the SD cart with the name ssh and no extention. For how to create this file and how to flash the images google has fairly easy tutorials. Hope this helps.

You may find some of the answers your looking for in [this] thread, jack offers some rather informative posts. You could also check out the [Raspberry VI] site which is specifically about Raspi accessibility.

Raspberry Pi Set-up

Raspberry Pi Set-up

Hello. I think this has been brought up before, but I can't find newer information to work with. I am trying to set up a Raspberry Pi. I've got a couple of people who want it to run a combat bot, but I need to access the Pi to program the darned thing. Does anyone have any ideas? I've tried hooking it up to my modem, but it was having trouble with recognizing the thing. I'll give it another go now that some repairs were done to the internet service, but if anyone has any better ideas, that would be great. I heard about SpeakUp, but I'm not sure what I need to get that working.
