Re: Reaper question
Reaper itself is just a DAW with a few great plugins. Unfortunately, it does not have vocal isolation nor extraction. You can achieve this via several ways, please keep in mind that none of these will yield perfect results:1. Hardware units. These will provide decent
Re: Reaper question
You need to use very expensive plugins to do.

Re: Simple reaper question
@4that is not quite what ripple mode does...Ripple mode will move the timing of all other items whether you move an item, or you delete one... this can be applied whether it is on a per track basis or across all tracks, or none, which is what the OP wants
Re: Simple reaper question
hitting delete on a time selection has never respected ripple.

Re: Simple reaper question
You also may have Ripple mode on - which if you have ripple all on, it'll cut across every track. Use Alt P to toggle through ripple editing modes, and make sure it's on Ripple Off so you're only effecting one track.

Re: Simple reaper question
You're probably using time selection, which really acts as a razor blade across a virtual tape, i.e. it slices from the first track to the last one. You can still use time selections, make one as normal, then hit shift S to create two split points. If it said 0
Simple reaper question
Hello!Sorry for posting that in the separate topic, but I cannot find a general REAPER topic.SO yeah, how can I operate on only given track of a project? I want to mess up with the vocal, but instrumental should be untouched.
