Hi!  I hope you will be able to choose whether to turn with the gyro or do it with your fingers.  This is because I am often in the office in front of the switchboard or traveling on trains and getting up and turning around, or turning the phone would be impossible.

Sounds good, I thought multiplayer in this one would mean thievery :d. Just so long as their are some checks in place to make sure you don't get stolen from so often that you can't progress at all. One thing I wonder, is whether a method of turning could be made using the direction facing feature of the phone? I really loved this in pappasangre 2, since it gave a major sense of emersion having to physically turn my body around to the direction I wanted to go, albeit it wasn't always practical to do, and in such detailed audio environments as the islands seem to be it might fit in well.

Now, a quick word here to the open questions. we are inmidst beta test preps.Sonar Islands is a turnbased multiplayer, where you own an island or later in the game an island group, like all other players. For progressing in the game, you have to place treasure chests on every island, they produce gold.  And to fortify your treasure chests you have to place obstacles. The gold, you need therefore, you get with attacking other player´s islands or wait till your chests have produced enough. Having another look, I think, I could be wrong here... but I think... that the actual exploration might be single player, but what you do to your island will be where the multiplayer comes in. So I'd create an island with obstacles and treasure for you all to then come and try to get some from me. You'd all then build up your islands and I'd get some treasure, add more stuff to mine. So it's not about me battling you all exactly, it's more like, oh, here's a level for you all to try and get a chest of treasure, but you gotta get past my lion, sort of a thing.

I still pull FEER out occasionally to rock along and dodge some zombies, so I'm looking forward to this one, indeed I've been wondering why we haven't heard more of Feer since the factory was created, now we know wy.I've had a look at the blog entries and a listen to the samples and this one sounds fantastic, I particularly like the idea of the multiplayer being more in matter of exploring other people's locations rather than doing them in directly, just so long as there is always a way for you to progress without other people  doing your progress in too much, though I suspect the balance will be good enough. I haven't yet worked out how the actual navigation around the environments comes, since I assume this is a first person game, with you avoiding obstacles and grabbing things, and I'm not sure of the controls on Ios, but we'll doubtlessly find out soon.I actually was considering signing up for testing, but in this case I think I'll let others have the fun of going first and just wait to buy the game upon release, since it's nice to have something to look forward to in a couple of weeks, indeed if there is a way to buy the game before it comes out I'd be glad to do so.

@mentalhome.euI really enjoyed Feer and so did my friends, but the consensus was that the large majority of the achievements in that game were too easy.So while based on the previous game's quality I'll probably still play this one regardless, I do hope that if you use achievements/unlocks again, they are more challenging and unique this time.

Fellow forumights, this project seems interesting. From what I am reading, here is what I've gathered.This game is sort of a soundscape explorer, but also more than that. The blog mentions challenges, such as in the jungle Island, if you make too much noise you attract a lion. The aim is to go to each island/soundscape, and come back with treasure.It also appears this game has a sort of creation element, as it seems we'll be able to make islands then attack each other, however not directly, it's more a gold fest, not a player killing fest.

Have I got this all wrong?*I am wondering how the game actually works. Are there, literally, four islands one of each category, or, are there many islands but each is one of the four categories?*lastly, if you wish, but only if you wish, could you please give an example, or if not a full blown example, a hint of, the sort of general gameplay loop we might experience? in Feer, that would be: run, collect lights, get items, die, get quest progress, choose theme, continue, complete more quests, get upgrades)?
