Re: TeamViewer?
Re: TeamViewer? Hi Diego,In order to pass through the keys, You need to go into the TeamViewer settings and into the remote settings page, I'm sorry I don't remember exactly what it's called, and there's a check box that is called something along the line of send all keys or something. After this is checked, be warned the only way to close the connection now is to use NVDA Object Navigation to find the close button on the screen.2. Allow me if you don't mind to shamelessly plug something I created a while ago, called NVDADL. This program allows you to install NVDA onto a machine by simply just opening the program. All you need to do is connect to the remote machine, copy the NVDADL.exe file onto the machine with a simple copy paste (Yes, team viewer allows copying files remotely similar to remote desktop), and then run the file. After a few seconds or up to 2 minutes depending on connection, NVDA's set up will launch and the installation will proceed. If you want to try it out, download it here.http://masonasons.me/files/programs/NVDADL.zipHope all of this helps you in some way. Re: TeamViewer?
Re: TeamViewer? As far as I know, teamviewer is not accessible in the ways that count for the blind and, in my opinion, never will be.anyway, if you want to do aproximately the same thing as teamviewer does and in a blind friendly manner, check out nvda remote. This nvda add-on practically lets you controll or be controlled by another person running nvda and having the add-on installed. It's a peti that it wasn't updated for 2019.3 yet, though I expect it to be soon enough, as it's so important for the comunity. Re: TeamViewer?
Re: TeamViewer? Well sure, you can control a pc with an android device. But as post 2 stated, it may not be the most accessible thing ever. Controlling a pc with an iPhone isn't too bad though. It takes forever, as you have to individually press the keys in a key combo, but if your patient you can do it. Unless you're using a screenreader though, or have some vision, you won't have any idea of what's actually on your screen though. If you are using a screenreader, the audio is actually transfered to the phone, which is pretty helpful actually. Now, I know your question was about android, but I'm hoping that in some way helps. You cannot control an iPhone with anything, unfortunately. However, if you are looking to control another computer with a computer, and you're using NVDA as your screenreader, I believe there's an addon to make things a little easier on you. If you're interested, I can find it. [Audiogames-reflector] TeamViewer Accessibility
TeamViewer Accessibility Hey all. How accessible is TeamViewer with JAWS? Well be using it in school? Re: [Audiogames-reflector] TeamViewer Accessibility
Re: TeamViewer Accessibility It works, kinda. My experiences havent been great, but it can do it.Other than that, you can do a few different things. It is possible to use windows remote desktop to connect, and forward audio. Unfortunately, not only doesnt jaws want you to buy a remote access license, it shuts itself off because you dont have it. if you have virtual audio cable, you might be able to use it to forward the computers audio to a skype call or, more easily, a teamtalk channel. Remote access is not your friend. If you talk to the school and explain the situation, they might be able to offer you something else, such as a virtual machine for example.URL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=150964#p150964 ___ Audiogames-reflector mailing list Audiogames-reflector@sabahattin-gucukoglu.com http://sabahattin-gucukoglu.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/audiogames-reflector
Re: [Audiogames-reflector] TeamViewer Accessibility
Re: TeamViewer Accessibility Am I getting you right in saying that I need to forward audio in TeamViewer. And do I need a remote license to use JAWS with it? Re: [Audiogames-reflector] TeamViewer Accessibility
Re: TeamViewer Accessibility Windows remote desktop and jaws dont play at all without a license, unless you start them in a specific order. I cant recall which order, but believe jaws has to be running first in order to even try. Jaws doesnt do anything for team viewer either way-if it forwards your audio well enough, you get it, if it doesnt you dont. How well team viewer can do audio, and with what latency, depends heavily on network conditions and can vary from day to day.URL: http://forum.audiogames.net/viewtopic.php?pid=150982#p150982 ___ Audiogames-reflector mailing list Audiogames-reflector@sabahattin-gucukoglu.com http://sabahattin-gucukoglu.com/cgi-bin/mailman/listinfo/audiogames-reflector
