Re: The Death of Thomas Ward To answer a couple of questions, from what I understand, Tom had a brain tuma. He had a lot of medical issues with various infections and other problems over the past few years (one reason why he didn't get as much done on game development work as I thought). In December I believe there was a brief, and indeed quite abrupt message from him on the audeasy mailing list, which, as people may know, he was the moderator. One reason this is such a shock is that as has been said, last we heard he seemed to be getting better, or at least that was what we hoped. Sad news indeed, and a major loss, especially to long time community members who likely knew Tom as a friend (some of my own and others' reminiscences see the topic in the news). Re: The Death of Thomas Ward He certainly will be missed. He was a great game developer as well as quite an active member of the open source community, linux and such. His use of Linux is actually what got me into trying linux in the first place. Rest in peace Thomas, and hopefully someone, somewhere can finish his games as he would've wanted to, and even if that doesn't happen, his legacy can still live on as audio game developers continue making great games, hell if we made some games for linux as well that's not only something that Tom would've wanted, it would be a revolution for all the linux users.
