@Simter, Regardless, if the microphone permission is disabled, then in theory, the user should get an alert when the microphone is in use to grant the permission. Logically, if no alert is shown, the microphone isn't being used.

@Simter, YouTube only says the microphone is used for the in-built video editor and for voice searching, so if you disable microphone permissions and you get asked to re-enable it in a situation that doesn't match the above, that would be weird

Also, if you're jalebroken, you can get App Admin and roll back to older versions of Appstore apps. You can even block updates for specific apps to prevent them from updating automatically until you've heard a patch has been made.

Hi.So whenever I open up YouTube, Voiceover switches to my earpiece, but it stops going through there and plays through the regular phone speaker when I start the video. Is there a fix?
