Arrow down to the item that says instant translate, and in there go to the item that says, Translates clipboard text from one language to another using Google Translate. Click on add and hold nvda shift Y. Then in the menu that pops up, select whatever keyboard layout you want it for. Sometimes it would beep a couple times (translating...) and then say blank. instant translate problem hi, I have a Problem with instant translate. the keys for it dont work. when I press NVDA shift y, nothing happens. when I press NVDA shift t, I here a low beep and when I press another key, I here a higher, longer beep but nothing else. Re: instant translate problem The interface is completely different, now.You pres nvda+shift+t to activate the translator commands, then press another keystroke to execute one.Try nvda+shift+t, then shift+t. I only ever use shift+t and t, but I forget which is which.
