Had to restart my phone, but its working as before, thanks... although... this bug has to be the weirdest one i've seen yet. And its caused by touch id / faceid... very, very odd. Although i'm sure this came about after an update, or several for that matter, there was a time when I had touch id on and it worked as normal... really weird bug though. Also, I got a new Samsung update. And now it doesnt read Emojis. It flat out just acts like it doesn't exist. That first problem isn't something I experienced myself, but from what I heard this seems to happen if you have the option that protects the app with Touch/Face ID turned on, so if you do try turning it off which should hopefully help. I didn't hear of a fix for it yet, but I can't imagine there still isn't one after all this time. major bugs in whatsapp with voiceover, am I the only one? So for the last month or so, maybee more, since a particular update to whatsapp, i've been getting whatsapp bugs on my iphone. Bugs which, frankly, annoy the heck out of me. For the record, i'm running the latest version of whats app, on a iphone 7. Bug 1. When typing, nothing; and I mean absolutely nothing; is spoken. Not the character, the space, or the word, despite my voiceover settings beeing set to characters and words. This works everywhere else as usual, but when in whats app... it doesn't matter if i'm using the regular ios keyboard or braille screen input to type; no feedback of what i'm typing is given by voiceover. Bug 2. As you all know, the voiceover gesture two fingers swipe up, starts reading from the top to the bottom. In whats app however, ever since that update; whenever I do a two finger swipe up, the only responce I get? I just hear the voiceover sound that plays when say, you've reached the end or top of the screen and when you try and go forward or back, the sound plays to indicate you are at the topmost or bottom of the screen.3. In the main whats app window, where all the chats are, the searchfield has been... Severely messed up for voiceover users in the sence that typing with braille screen input doesn't work; you can only use dictation, or the normal keyboard to type there. Note, this bug started before bugs 1 and 2, however its now worse because of bug 1.Can anyone else tell me if they have encountered these bugs? Is there something I can do to fix it? I emailed whats app support about these bugs... and when I heard back; just the usual canned responce; thanks for contacting us, there is nothing we can do; we'll fix it soon; etc;, bottom line beeing the same; they didn't do anything about it. Am I the only person experiencing these bugs? They are driving me mad, particularly the bug where I cannot hear what i'm typing... I hope i'm not alone in this...
