Re: problem with virtual recorder So I have used at least three or four audio recording programs mainly for recording both my microphone and stereo mix at the same time without having to have a mixer. The first one I used was sound tap audio recorder by NCH software, But the problem that I had with that is that if it detect silence of any sort it will stop the recording. The same also happened with virtual audio recorder. Then I started using free PC audio recorder which is actually a pretty good piece of software, though I’m not sure that that one is being updated anymore either. Now I am using open broadcaster which is probably the best one I have used so far. Re: problem with virtual recorder @Minionslayer: I never had any problems with resyncing till now.Virtual recorder itself is only an older version of ffmpeg.exe, VAC and some scripts.It would be possible to update the ffmpeg.exe as long as the syntax stays the same.@JayJay: sometimes i am recording stuff from TV. I am also hearing impaired and i can normalize the mp3 a little bit for a little better quality. And this can take some time if the input file is 4 to 12 hours long.Virtual recorder records on the fly in mp3 and no other temporary file is created during the process.With audacity you will also have some big big temp files.I think the same goes for goldwave.So why should i mess arround with a videorecorder if i only need the audio? It is simply more work with no real profit. problem with virtual recorder Hello.I wanted to record my GTA V demo this evening but have a problem with virtual recorder. Recording from the sound card works fine, the problem is when i set it to record from both sources, so soundcard and microphone, the instand it gets input from the mic, it stops the recording. it records about half a second and just shuts off.Does someone know what the problem could be here?Greetigns moritz.
