Depending on the type of computer you have, there might be programs with the name of the company on them. For example, HP 3 d drive guard. If you close all these programs from the task manager and uninstall them, this should fix the computer issues. I haven't gotten to the temple basement yet, but I did get to some parts with a lot of enemies, items, and pits. The game slowed down a little bit, but nothing bad. When I had that HP stuff on the computer, the game would hardly run. So uninstall anything with your computer's company name on it, do a disk clean up, and you should be having less computer issues.

You have to go to the website and check yourself on the top page. The game used to check for updates, but for some reason its no longer the case... and even when you checked for updates you still had to download them yourself. lol

Hey! I have to say your playthrough made me get everything set up to play the game. I am really enjoying it so far.In regards to part five, I think, when you play the minigames in the water town, you mentioned you never got the 1000 points in the pot breaking game.SpoilersSpoilersIf you take Elena, and just move straight north without changing direction, you should be able to break that limit easily. I sprinted every other time as well and got mid 1300s pretty easily.End spoilersAnyway thanks for making this thread!

Unfortunately, you cant.do the following:press Windows + r, and type without the quotes:chkdsk c: /f /r. it will ask you to restart, press y, restart the computer.When you restart, the computer will start to check and if posible, repair the disk. Windows will start when the process is finished, it can take from 5 minutes to much longer.

Hahaha. Worse part is I have no way to tell if its actually progressing... unless it stops doing that really loud hum that I get when my computer bsods. Sounds like the fans inside are going nuts... lol. But thanks. Ill give that a try.

Sounds like a ram problem for me.If the hdd is damaged, you will receibe messages from Windows, and any program could stop working suddenly, but if it is a ram isswe, probably your computer will slow down when it has a lot to load in memory.In another post, youve said that your computer can run Street fighter x tekken, if im not wrong. that means that you have a good computer, good or great, and shadow line is not too difficult to run.

SF x Tekken has a pregame test it used to run on pc... it tests tons of character action onscreen at once, and the audio moves by really fast and chaotically if it works properly. Lately when I start it, things slow down quite a bit during the test. My computer is great and still runs things, but it may be a ram issue... I also get BSODs if I restart or accidentally shut off my computer. lol

Thanks mr.brunete. I might just ask yfor your help with this one. The only time my computer lags is when I run a program or game that has a lot of code to try and buffer... if I run Bokurano Daibouken 3 for example, any time enemies are plentiful or when an enemy is moving very fast acros the stage my computer starts to lag. And everything starts lagging. But as soon as I close the program, things return back to normal. And I believe the term is bottlenecking. Stirlock, Im going to try and mess around with virtual Audio cable... Ill drop you a message on skype or something if I need help. Thanks both of you!

hey clement, do you remember if the basement dungeon was in the original game?. because, i finished it, and i dont remember this dungeon.In the original game, Also, i remember playing at night, from the lake, to the end of the game, i managed to do it fortunately in a short time. but this dungeon, all these keys, im shure that if it was on the original shadow line, i dont went through it somehow. this is one of the best dungeons ive seen in a game, and after hours and hours of geting stuck time after time, i think im really close to finish it.

I think its a physical hdd problem, though theres no way to check which is disappointing... I could finish the playthrough on my windows 8 laptop that has a faster drive, but the problem is that I havent been able to find a way to record myself and the game at the same time. But I do intend to finish it. and thanks for the compliments! This game is definitely a huge improvement over the original, and the original was quite good!

I had this on my windows 7 machine. It usually occurred in certain rooms with a lot of things 9items, hazards, enemies) combined. Not always, but mostly. Mine would lag so badly that the games sound would sometimes break up.Thankfully I have not had the issue since switching laptops. Seriously, my lag was often so bad that I took to using Elena even when I shouldnt have, just so Id move and attack faster.

Part 9 is now up. As I said in the description, a bit of exploration, then to find out what happened after Rudolph flew off towards the temple. Starting in the dungeon in the temple basement. Wondering if anyone else is having the lag issues Im having? I didnt use to have any... its only the latest version that its starting doing that to me. lol If anyone has suggestions as to why, any tips would be appreciated. the game just got laggy to the point where I had to stop because it was getting to be too much.

shadow line full voice - LP.

Well, I did say I would continue once the fully voiced version was released. But I decided to start again from scratch... and have recorded two parts so far. Again, its the playthrough of the first part of the game before the volcano, but this takes longer because I go out of my way to explore so areas that I didnt before. Next week I have break from class so I should be able to continue! In the meantime, enjoy...
