If you parse the prompt with a trigger, you can return it as you will, and force the new line because it's part of the Send() function. Note the capital S.What's best is to write a regular _expression_, check omit from output, set the send box to script after omit (TIL, ty Key) and rebuild the prompt in your Send() call.If a better way exists, I don't know it.

That actually makes a lot of sense. I thought it would get into networking or mxp or something but that works as well. I guess the only reason that vipmud works is because it just directly outputs the received text to the screen reader? Anyway, thanks for clearing that up so fast, it's just unfortunate that i still need to use a rather outdated client for certain muds.

It's because the MUD itself is not terminating its prompt with a newline character.

strange mushclient issue

Hi, I was wondering if anyone knew how to fix this little quirk in Mush Client. In certain muds, mushreader won't actually read the line until you press enter a second time. This is an obvious issue in character creation and other prompts. It's not an issue with the muds I don't think as they work fine with VIPMud. I really like mush client, a lot more than vipmud, but I'm not sure if this is a fixable issue. If anyone has solutions I'd be really grateful.
