Check that spatial audio is off.Correcting for your spelling and Googling, you have an Alienware. Alienware stuff has no end of issues. You may flat out need new headphones here. At the very least this is probably going to end at you getting someone sighted to dig around in inaccessible control panels to figure out how to make it better.Try my media player suggestion, see if it helps. Re: strange problem with my headphone Assuming it's not just needing to disable virtual surround sound, which you can probably do via a switch on the headphones themselves:Open control panel. Not the new Windows 10 one, the old Windows 7 one. I get there by searching for control panel.Find the sound options in there. You'll get a dialog that lists playback devices. Find your headphones. Hit applications, open properties.Go to enhancements tab. Check disable all enhancements. Tab to apply. Hit apply.Restart NVDA. If the problem still persists try restarting the whole system--sometimes that's needed, though I don't know why offhand.This fixes the exact symptoms you're describing 99% of the time.Though I haven't actually seen this as a problem in practice there is also a spatial audio tab in that same dialog in some circumstances; if you go there you might discover that that's enabled, and you want to turn it off.If you're still having a problem, find a media player that you like, find a really long music track or something, and play very quiet music in the background. This won't solve the reverb, but it will probably solve the clicking, which is caused when NVDA closes the audio device after speaking. When the computer detects the last audio device closing, it will sometimes turn off the sound card which, if there's additional enhancements going on, can cut off the end. So a media player playing will sometimes get you through until you can find the actual problem.
