I had some trouble with it awhile back, and haven't tested it in a few months, but it used to work really well. You would install an extension, either on Chrome or Firefox, then paste whatever you wanted sent to your phone into a text field. Then, you would get a notification on your phone letting you know it had gone through, and you could paste it into another app or just leave it there if you wanted. I think there was a premium version which let you keep more notes in the app, but I never purchased it.There's another similar app called Snippets which more or less does the same thing, except you connect via a local IP address which is shown in the app, then you can either paste something in the box on the phone and have it appear on your computer, or do it the other way around and have it appear on your phone. Again, it's free, though you can make an in-app purchase to remove ads if you want. Both of these apps are very accessible, too.So, given the variety of ways in which this can be done, I don't really see a need for another application for that purpose. Then again, I don't really use my Iphone for writing anyway. At the moment I usually either create a file on dropbox or send a skype message to someone then delete it after copying the message on the other device. Notes on my phone show up in gmail on my laptop, but don't know how to make notes on gmail that would show up on my phone. If not, is there a market for it in our commun So, I'm one of these people who, mid flow about one project will suddenly come up with an addition to make to another project.My option at the moment is to drop a note on my phone, or write a file on my computer, leaving me with 15,000 files with various notes in that are not accessible to me when I run out of battery on my laptop and now only have my phone. ARGH!So I was thinking, surely there is an application which bridges between laptop and phone through a web portal that allows you to keep notes and perhaps categorise them?If there isn't, is anyone interested in me making one? I could probably throw one together in about 15 minutes and chuck in basic encryption for added security.Thoughts?
