Re: weird issue with my other pc and firefox hiif you use a Firefox version under 46.0 the audiogames site and forum don't work. if you have such a version you need to install a useragent. weird issue with my other pc and firefox
weird issue with my other pc and firefox Hi all,So I think I managed to fix my other, more powerful pc, windows 8.1. However my Dad said that it came up with something about refreshing firefox, so I don't exactly know what's happened here and I hope that he didn't reset it by mistake. He was trying to get online to see which electrical point needed fixing, luckily we managed to do this and figure that out, it was a hardware issue turned out it had just been slightly unplugged from the wall for all this time!However, I am noticing a weird problem. If I fire up internet explorer, I can go to the audiogames forum. But if I loaded up firefox, I can go to any website, accept for the audiogames website including forum and even normal game list. Yet google, Facebook, etc work perfectly.I then tried updating firefox because it was, ridiculously, on version 48! Interestingly, I didn't notice any slowdown on google's website, yet, it strangely didn't fix my issue: I couldn't access the audiogames forum still!So, I am wondering what is happening, or whether it might just be better to switch to chrome. I also haven't tried it since before writing this post, I tried it just as we fixed the issue. Also, as the windows 8.1 pc hasn't been online for over a year, I bet it's missing a ton of updates, could that also be an issue? Yet how would that make the audiogames website not work?
