To answer your question: I'd say it accessible. The software you use to write program is not a graphical user interface, or GUI, all things that you've written to instruct the computer to do are runs in a console window. I think the question you need to ask

What is the best way to deploy django on a vps for learning purposes?
Hey allSo I've been following this tutorial on digital ocean, but it doesn't work for me. I mostly have problem with gunicorn, so I couldn't go any further to setup nginx to works with django.Any suggestions?

You need to have at least an A record setup on your domain to point your domain to your VPS's IP address. You can also setup an record as well in case your VPS supports IP V6.
