so how do I get to the second stadium. I've explored everything in HazelDell City, but I still can't get the gate unlocked for the next town. Any help would be greatly appreciated!!!

How do I unlock the gate to the path after HazelDell City? I've already rested in the hotel and bought the bone dagger and equipped it to my strongest manamon. I also bought the encounter down thing to. Don't know what I'm doing
