I find android programming to be notoriously difficult and hard to work with. I get that it's supposed to be fun and all, but honestly I think they've taken object-oriented programming a bit too seriously. I just find it really hard to manage.

If you mean the old note takers that are Windows Based, as far as I know yes, there is an SDK. But it was only available on request and you first had to demonstrate that you know how to program to obtain it. I read this. years ago on a Polish site
