Hi,I love this game! It just feels very arcade-like, and if I didn't know it were an audio game, I'd suspect it to be just another video game I couldn't play. Great work!However I have some suggestions.1. On time trial mode, I feel there should be a point where the game stops counting down from 10. Starting at 10 for the first few levels is fine, but maybe at level 8 or so, when you only have about 20 seconds, starting at 10 just seems too chatty to me, maybe starting at 5 would be better after a certain point? Only a small suggestion, however. Also, since the walls aren't really that much of a danger, I'd adjust the volume scaling a bit so that they fade in and out faster i.e. when you're in the center, the walls are very quiet, only when you are approaching one do you actually hear it prominently. At present I feel the walls are a little too loud all the time. On survival it's fine because it's a larger grid.2. On survival mode, I feel that the bombs are indeed a bit touchy. While I'm getting better at avoiding them, their numbers make it sometimes impossible to get out of a bind. I realize it's all random so you can't control it, but perhaps you could compensate by making the damage area smaller so you can get a bit closer than present without getting hurt. I'd say maybe two spaces to either side would be a good compromise, then I wouldn't be so scared to try and weave in between bombs if I have to. But at present I'm just spamming the heck out of the up and down arrow keys to stay in one place while hanging around in either the top, middle or bottom of the screen, whichever area gives me the most distance. Another point, maybe there should be a wait timer so that you can't instantly change direction back and forth. Say, you start turning forward, to turn back again, you first have to wait 750 ms or so before you can change direction again. You'd only need it for up/down, not left/right imho.3. I think it would be awesome to have health. Running into walls take, say, 25 health, getting hit with a bomb takes 50. When you dye, the game could pause for say 2 seconds and then resume, to let you know you just lost a life. Maybe there could be a chime sound to indicate items such as extra life cones, and health increases. They could spawn as sporadically as needed, but it would be nice to know that they're separate from normal cones. Heck you could use some of the Death on the Road sounds just because both games involve cars. Or ... maybe even on higher levels or another difficulty or whatever, have a car that roams around teh grid and you have to avoid it (think the robot in super Deekout). I'm having too much fun here ...Anyway those are mainly my suggestions. This game is already awesome and playable as it is, but I am a firm believer that a simple gameplay concept can branch out into something else ... Take Super Egg Hunt, for example. While simple, that game has depth, and while I don't necessarily expect every simple game to have over 90 unlockables, I do try to come up with things that would liven up a simple game which would make you want to keep going.

@37 Agreed. I've played more, and realize the following things that have happened:1. Bombs wwill pop up, in two or three directions. I'll avoid those by steering far to the left and moving back a little, but then another bomb spawns right where I'm at. Beep, boom! I think that if there's another version, there should be a timer which prevents people from hitting bombs as soon as they spawn like that, because there is actually no possible way to avoid doing that.Also there should be a damage variable to your car, so that if you're like 10 squares away the bomb isn't able to just  flat out kill.Also, I recorded a podcast over this game. And within the podcast you'll hear that beep, boom! thing happen. Hello,I'm wondering the best way to avoid bombs, especially as I seem to die a lot on he first level. I've tried slarluming around them, treid changing direction quickly, only to run into another bomb. Going in a line also seems useless as they seem to be able to hit you even if they aren't in the center of the screen. I've also had bombs explode way before the timer starts to constantly beep, which could either be me possibly running into them directly or could be a bug, I'm not actually sure which.

yeah, sometimes the bombs explode before the timer beeps get really fast, and that's just a fact of life. If you play enough games you can figure out just how far away from the bombs you have to be to aavoid their blast radius. Also, you should constantly be on the hunt for extra lives. The spell switches are the best way to get those, because you can hit them as much as you want. Extra life cones are nice, but they're of course random. If you're desperate to keep playing, leveling up will give you a life also, but the screen will become more populated with bombs the higher you go, so you're basically making a big tradeoff there. Don't expect to get past level 4 or 5 even if you play your best.

Is it just me, or do bombs seem to spawn way too fast? On the first set of bombs in the game, I'd drive, one would spawn, I'd go the other way, and 3 or 4 more would spawn in all different directions. Then, I'd manage somehow to get out of their way, and like 3 or 4 more would pop right where I'd moved over to. Also, there are instances, sometimes, when one will pop up really close to me. I'll hear beep. beep. boom! Is this a bug?  Please if you could lower the intensity of bomb spawns.

@keyIsFullCould it be a possibility that you got beat by other people so your scores vanished?  I've just managed to get number 1 on the scoreboards myself so I'll have to check and see what the situation is...This is a good game to kill time with, though I seem to get hit by bombs that don't exist and the range on the current ones is too long IMHO - iI agree it makes the game more frantic, but it's so frustrating to get hit by objects that don't exist and therefore you can't avoid

Nah, the resets occurred when tehre were only like 8 scores listed. And sometimes the bombs go off long before the beeping has sped up to full, and you are hit by them before you can do anything about them, but whatever.

HiYou need to read the manual it'll explain how to refuel. basically, you need to hit first g, then a, then s, and it'll recharge your fuel.The bombs are indicated by a beeping sound, you need to try to avoid it. I will change this sound in the future because its not continuous enough.

The survival mode is pretty good, but there's the same problem of not knowing exactly where all the sounds are. I've gotten hit by bombs because I didn't realize they were as close to me as they were, because the farther bombs sounded about as close. I think that every time you get refueled the spell switches should randomize, because I was able to load up on lives by hitting them over and over again, though i sitll had to watch out for bombs.
