Re: Fellow Chrome users: Anyone else experiencing this? @matt1211: Are you talking about the problem with Google Chrome/NVDA, or the issue with multiple tabs being open in adobe reader?@defender: While I haven’t had any problems with web browsers, or when using multiple windows at once, navigating through folders and settings, or even just on the desktop, has always been a real pain with NVDA. When navigating through the desktop or Windows Explorer, for example, there’s always this weird lag going on it doesn’t show up anywhere else. A prime example is downloading something off the Internet. Everything runs smooth as glass while i’m on Google Chrome, but when it comes time to save the file, or find/open it once it’s been saved, navigating to the proper folder is an absolute nightmare.Good to hear they’re looking into making things faster. Would be nice to not have to switch between Jaws and NVDA constantly. Do you know when the new version will be available? Re: Fellow Chrome users: Anyone else experiencing this? This was a problem I had (now I'm on Linux but I still have Windows on this thing so I can play games LOL) and I've experienced this before. I read a lot of specifications and other large documents, and NVDA (and evenOrca at times) freezes up on large documents. Side note: chrome on Linux is slow as all hell on Linux, and I haven't found a way to make it faster. People are saying that the beta is way faster in general, and I noticed NVDA having trouble with large MS Word documents, along with long lists of items in folders or settings windows.I'm guessing it's all related, so hopefully the solution will be as well. I use jaws more than NVDA, but chrome is the only browser I use, and when I do fire up NVDA on occasion, I also don’t get any issues like this.With that being said, I’ve noticed a similar issue to what you describe when having multiple tabs open on adobe acrobat reader (Doesn’t matter which screen reader it is). Anyone else run across this? Not getting this one either, and I often have four or five windows open in chrome, I also use the new tab, new window extension since I find tabs on the screen to be annoying, and would much rather have windows to alt tab between.I have noticed that sometimes NvdA can go a bit weird with chrome if there are alert boxes that require clicking. Have you run a convenient spam/malware filter to make sure you haven't got any annoying popups playing merry hell with navigation? something similar happened to me on one occasion, but Malware bites and C cleaner happily sorted it out. I have an epub book that I've converted to HTML, it contains over 700 pages. I can seems to press alt tab just fine. Using the latest build of Windows 10 here.
