If we talk about it in political aspect, China is one of the permanent member in the UN Security Counsel. b: If we talk about this in economic aspect, China is a approx 12 trillion dollar economy, chances of overtaking US in some year has increased, as in 2020 China is the only one country which grew a lot, whereas the rest of the world was trying to find antidotes for COVID. What I analyse, people are not given very proper treatment like @snow said. Here in our country, the Government suddenly banned all of the Chinese apps, which I feel was wrong as impacted a lot of people, as it increased a lot of unemployment. That could be done in a more better way, like shifting those employs in some other job, then banning those. The reason for this was, to bring down it's speed of growth. Another reason which makes less hard to believe this is, China does trading very cleverly. An example, Country A will sell iron to china at cheaper price, and China will manufacture something from it, then sell that product manufactured by using country A's iron at an expensive price. It is a dominant country in South Asia, so that explains it, I suppose. This feeling only becomes stronger when they see China exerting it's will on others.And I certainly have no love for the capitalist system, while also recognizing the drawbacks of democracy. IMO what Chinafiles and CCP supporters fail to accept is most of us aren't being xenophobic when we level our criticism towards China, it's just that they've inherited their leadership's thin skin and propaganda keeps them from seeing non biased facts about their country, and that makes them feel defensive out of a sense of patriotism and self worth.
