When I run it as administrator in System 32, I get the same error, however when I don’t run it as administrator in that directory, this error appears: ---RegSvr32---The module "dxkey.ocx" may not compatible with the version of Windows that you're running. Check if the module is compatible with an x86 (32-bit) or x64 (64-bit) version of regsvr32.exe.Any ideas with that one? Thanks for all the help that has been given so far.

Maybe, the regsvr32 command expects the module to be in the same directory.Try copying it to c:\windows\system32 and runregsvr dxkey.ocxHTH

I tried that, and I repeatedly receive an error saying the OCX failed to load. The following error is this: The module "C:\Windows\SysWOW64\dxkey.ocx" failed to load.Make sure the binary is stored at the specified path or debug it to check for problems with the binary or dependent .DLL files.The specified module could not be found.What do I do to make any command in the run dialog run as administrator? Thanks so much for the response.

Try going in to the run dialog and typing regsvr32 c:\windows\SysWOW64\DXKEY.OCX. You need to run this command as an administrator.
