I too am getting sick and tired of looking at great game titles, and, oh, nevermind, it's just another tk clone, or sbp clone, or, heck, even an rs clone occasionally. Admittedly, I do make clones, but wouldn't ever dream of releasing them, and do them usually just to test my understanding against the code.Space mission really couldn't be a clone of anything, though; well, I suppose it could be one of death match a new beginning but I don't've the source code for that.It also couldn't be a clone of any bgt game; you could know this by going into task manager - the process will be 64 bit.I've taken the day off for a miriad of reasons, which should allow me to do some coding and speak with my sound design team and music composers about the release.I think you won't be disappointed.Edit: refering to post 29, not post 28. There wil be ddocs in the full release because battling takes an extremely long time to get used to. Also, that version wasn't the latest one. Taking it away now.@15: Yes, it probably will be abandoned soon with all the stress I'm going throuhg with school and whatnot. I just hope that it has enough content that in the event that I do lose the code (or the motivation, whichever happens) it will still be enough to please. I wont say more since I don't have the permission to post a link to the game but I am not a beta tester and I was able to download it. Nice game but it seriously needs a documentation and a better targeting system. Right now it seems like you shoot at random since you don't know exactly where the enemy is or I haven't figured out the keys. Since there is no key guide I guess I'll have to figure it out on my own. However, you can put a lot of upgrades on your ship and you can launch fighter pods, so sort of yes. It will be offline, and in an arcade-ish style.
