+1 except that a patina of solid silver is required between each layer
of crushed instrument. I find any amount over .42 mm produces unwanted
brilliance. Amounts less than .40 produce a clashing sound

I have experienced vibrations making a
I have a wide, low rack between my speakers with heavy tempered glass
shelves on rubber washers on a steel and wood open frame. Works great,
no vibrations whatsoever. I got it for $120 from BJ's, hah!
I have one window (out of five) that vibrates/rattles at some low bass
frequencies. I have a

For a horrified moment I read that as something very different to how
it was intended. I guess I must just have a dirty mind

what is needed air wise. How many watts? External or
Glass has the potential to vibrate. I stick with wood.

Speakers are actually made with all glass cabinets.

I think you'll find that pretty much *everything* has the potential to

I find that heavy hifi stuff with rubber feets damps the glass shelves
pretty good, from emitting any sound.
yes you can hear furniture but by acoustical means not only the hifi

no large closed cabinets *they* resonate. I once
