Hi, Has anyone used Logrow on a mounted AUFS RW branch?  It seems to work well with a loop back block device that is not part of the union. Logrow will quickly expand a loop mounted block device and then I can use resize2fs to online resize the ext3 filesystem, but if it's the RW branch of AU

Hi Junjiro, Does AUFS2.1 support 2.6.36? I tried a couple weeks ago and it would not compile. Thanks for your excellent software, Kirk Hope this doesn't double post, it bounced back the first time. -- Beau

Hi Junjiro, I enjoyed your paper "Filesystems in LiveCD". I'm interested in your squashfs parallel decompression patch. Any chance you have a newer version of the patch, maybe for 2.6.38rc? Thanks, Kirk --- On Tue, 12/28/10, sf...@users.sourceforge.net wrote: > From: sf...@users.sourcefor

(volume_info->prepath); No oops! I'm using the same version of AUFS that I used when 3.0.1 came out, so definitely not a AUFS problem! Thanks again. --- On Mon, 8/15/11, kirk w wrote: > From: kirk w > Subject: Re: Kernel oops with cifs > To: sf...@users.sourceforge.net &

Recently I've had to do a make headers_install in the kernel source. Then cd into aufs3-standalone.git and do make install_headers, then copy those headers which include aufs_type.h into the kernel headers. _ From: "

The latest kernel and the latest long term kernel should be plenty. Anyone building a new system using AUFS would probably use one of those. Users with older kernels, are usually using them on systems that have been around for awhile. The kernels are not being maintained (except for lo

Another AUFS user with a neat implementation here: http://blog.picloud.com/2013/05/01/using-aufs-and-lxc-to-manage-dependencies -at-cloud-scale/ And of course, Fatdog64 is happy to have AUFS as our root filesystem: http://distro.ibiblio.org/fatdog/web/ Thanks Junjiro ___
