Hi,
Can you please remove the AUR package libtcod-beta [1]?
I am the maintainer but there is not longer a beta version of the library.
It has become stable.
Thanks
João

Hello,
Geany has moved from svn to git recently. As the maintainer of geany-svn [1]
I just submitted geany-git [2].
Can anyone please move comments/votes to the new package and delete the old
one?
Thanks
Joao

First one should be deleted.
Thanks.

lxpanelx [1] is actually the svn version of it. Therefore, lxpanelx-svn [2]
replaces it.
First one should be deleted.
Thank you.

this package is no more needed to have pidgin-plus plugin working because
the patch is built in official 2.7.0 release.
so use regular pidgin from extra.

Goblin-camp [1] was marked as out of date on Apr 26 (2.5 months ago). On
June 28 (2 weeks ago) I sent the maintainer an email asking for him to
update it and got no reply.
I would like to adopt it, if possible.
Thanks.

Hi,
All the SFML 1.6 packages are broken and orphaned. The official package is
the git version. I think they could all be delete.

Banshee mirage plugin is now part of the Banshee Community Extensions
project, as you can confirm in [1] - read April 7th news and check where
source link points to. Since the community extensions have an AUR package,
all mirage plugin packages should be deleted [2] and [3].
Thanks in advance,
qutim-plugin-floaties-latest[1] was a dupe of qutim-plugin-floaties[2] (that
was out of date). I asked [2] to orphan and [1] to adopt and update.
You can now delete [1].
Thanks in advance,

Ok, done too (I think).
you forgot to delete [9.1] and [10.1]:

[10.1] http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=12090
Everything else is
libreoffice-bin [1] - dupe of package in extra.
pyclutter-svn [2] is deprecated since pyclutter now uses git (and there is a
git package in aur). Also, pyclutter [3] and python-clutter [4] are dupes.
First has better naming but the second was submitted first so I don't know
which one should be
openttd [1] is in community too.

Some time ago I noticed that (obviously) there are several *-svn aur
packages that no longer make sense because they were changed to git
upstream. After a little thinking I came up with a list of all *-svn and
*-cvs packages and made a script to check if said packages have a
corresponding -git
gnome-globalmenu-svn [1]
Now using git

gnome-mount-lite [1]
gnome-disk-utility replaces it
mpich [2] and mpich2 [3] are the same. First one is outdated but probably
has better naming. 1 should be deleted OR adopted by 2 maintainer (so that 2
can be removed)
xautoclick-latest [4]
should be removed because it is a dupe of xautoclick

I do not think they are the same. Also
I think all of these packages should be deleted:
iolang (http://aur.archlinux.org/packages.php?ID=42613)
dupe of iolanguage
vimspell (http://www.vim.org/scripts/script.php?script_id=465)
upstream itself advises to stop using it since vim7 has a better native
spellchecker
mkvtoolnix-patched
to solve this?
Removing qt from the main package seems intrusive to me.
