Good suggestion about sc, it could potentially be moved from AUR to
[community]. It seems useful enough, but it's a problem if it has
indeed not been updated since 2002. Perhaps there is a maintained fork
somewhere (or one could be created)? python2-mrjob also looks like a
good canidate,

I second David's point! Not all software needs updating. This is a
simple, straightforward tool built on top of libraries
Would it be possible to request that sc be promoted to [community] by one
of you fine TUs? It doesn't change very often at all and it's a pretty
handy tool. Additionally, while we're at it, an unrelated but very cool
package, python2-mrjob? :-)
I am not a TU, otherwise I would do it myself.

While that is the latest year it was released, AFAIK, it doesn't seem to
need maintenance, and is stable after several years of development. Either
way, it's a good go-to CLI spreadsheet program and is included in several
other distros.
