Spotify-stable uses the stable package of spotify, while the spotify
package uses the unstable version. It normally has more problems, as
you can see from the comments, and signature checking is not available
because the maintainer rejects to
j605 [1] filed a deletion request for spotify-stable [2]:
This packages spotify with a different PKGBUILD. As far as I can see
it uses signature checks whereas spotify does not. Maybe these changes
can incorporated into the spotify package instead since spotify and
spotify-stable are both just
