OzFlarm units are not IGC-approved Flight Recorders, therefore the IGC has no direct interest in them. This letter from the IGC GFAC is not intended for users of OzFlarm. However, OzFlarm units are approved for use IN AUSTRALIA as GPS position recorders. This is a separate category. See Sporting
